SERVICES · TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE (TCM)
Thousands of years of medicine. Built around you.
A complete system of healing refined over thousands of years, Traditional Chinese Medicine treats the patterns beneath your symptoms. Personalized care helps you experience progress you can truly feel and trust.
WHAT IS TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE (TCM)?
Illness is understood as a signal that something in the body's balance has been disrupted.
TCM is a comprehensive medical system built on the principle that health is the body's natural state. Where conventional medicine excels at identifying and treating disease once it has arrived, TCM specializes in recognizing and correcting the patterns that precede it.
At its core, TCM works with qi, the vital energy that circulates through the body along pathways called meridians. When qi flows freely, we experience health and vitality. When it stagnates or becomes imbalanced, symptoms follow.
HOW TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE WORKS & HELPS
TCM works by identifying the underlying pattern behind your symptoms, then using time-tested therapies to restore balance across the body's systems.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) covers a broad range of conditions, with particular strength in the areas where conventional medicine often offers limited long-term relief.
If you don’t see your concern listed, reach out. TCM covers more ground than most people expect.

OUR APPROACH & WHAT TO EXPECT
We do not treat your diagnosis. We treat the person behind it.
Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis is part art, part science. Our practitioners assess the full picture: how you sleep, how you digest, how you feel emotionally, how you respond to temperature and seasons, and what your tongue and pulse reveal about your internal landscape.
At Tangible Health, TCM is practiced as an integrated part of a naturopathic clinic. Your care can be coordinated seamlessly with nutritional medicine, lifestyle medicine, and other therapies.
-
Your Intake- Your first appointment includes a comprehensive assessment of your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle factors, sleep patterns, stress levels, and wellness goals.
The Treatment- Based on your assessment, we build a care plan specific to your constitution and goals combining acupuncture, herbal formulas, dietary guidance, and adjunct therapies as needed.
Ongoing sessions & herbal prescriptions- Follow-up sessions run 45 to 60 minutes and include both treatment and reassessment. Herbal formulas are reviewed and adjusted as your condition evolves.
From treatment to prevention- Once primary concerns resolve, many patients transition to seasonal maintenance care, sustaining immunity, energy, and resilience through the year.

Your care plan is built around your unique needs, goals, and health history—ensuring a targeted and effective approach.
